Job Summary
We are a residential Memory Care community in Lakewood, CO seeking an enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors with dementia by enhancing their quality of life. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, reliable, creative and engaging.
Responsibilities
- Leads activities during the day and weekends
- Assists with creating activities
- Provide one-on-one visits and companionship when not engaged in an activity
Qualifications
- Previous experience with senior living activities is preferred
- First aid and CPR certified is preferred
- Previous experience with dementia care is preferred
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
- Compassionate, respectful, ethical, committed and reliable
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
